I’ve successfully raised and trained a Chihuahua to be happy and calm in all types of different environments.  Most people do not believe that Leon is a Chihuahua because of the way he interacts so positively with new people.  He’s even a registered therapy dog and I am able to take him for visits at hospitals and nursing homes.

Leon and I have done things that most believe are impossible for any Chihuahua to learn to do.  He learned to do flyball in less than six months.  I taught him to perform many tricks for the children we visit on our therapy trips including; rolling over, playing dead…he will even jump over the other therapy dogs!
