When training your dog, remember that positive training still includes correction when your dog does something wrong.  As Diva Dog Training pointed out, some dog owners are afraid of hurting their dogs feelings.

I think people forget that dogs truly want to learn what we expect from them and telling them what you want them to do is not being mean.

I think people also forget that dogs live their lives in the moment and in the pack environment, corrections are expected.  It’s part of living within a pack community, so dogs really think too much about corrections, as long as they are used correctly.
